What Type Of Goods Do You Ship?
We take country policy
serious. We can ship in all categories of goods, except contrabands such as
bomb equipment, arms and ammunitions, warship equipment, banned drugs like
cocaine, marijuana, etc.
We
can also ship dangerous goods, items of sensitive and hazardous nature even
though they are all subject to the terms of the countries’ port of loading and
destination. These goods have different rates from those of normal goods. Their
mode of shipment may be through air or sea freight, but it depends on the type
of goods. the type of goods is a strong determining factor.
Do You Offer
Pick-Up Service And Local Logistics?
YES,
we do! We only require you to provide the contract addresses of affected from both
points of contacts, i.e. point of pickup and point of destination. We assist in
picking up the goods from the country you are shipping.
Bowa Gate Global is known
for its high-level confidentiality. So, keeping your details in our care is a
responsibility we take into high consideration. We do not share clients’
contacts with third parties. Pick-up
charge strictly depends on the distance from the warehouse.
Do You Cross-Check Goods Sent To Your Warehouses?
Well, in order to avoid the
possession or carriage of contraband goods, we
reserve the rights to examine for the certainty that there are no implicating
items, and that goes to all the goods sent to our office (even for export
purpose).
How Do I Know The
Status Of My Goods?
Our Customer Service
Relationship officers are up and actively handling this section as they make
adequate moves to inform the customers promptly. Besides phone calls, SMS
notifications, Email, we also offer our customers an on-site tracking facility
to check the status or whereabouts of their shipments in the event where they
wish to monitor their consignments by themselves.
We track each stage from point of pick-up, freight and shipping,
customs clearance to delivery, forward information to the customer.
How Do You
Charge For Freight & Customs Services
Depending on the country of
origin, mode of shipping, weight/dimension of the cargo and content. Goods are
charged by CBM if the mode of shipping is by Sea, and charged by KG if mode is
by Air. Payment for clearance will be
determined by the custom duty charges and handling charges. As an
agent, our professional clearing fees may vary, and open for negotiation.

Can Clients Pay For Freight & Customs Before It Arrives In
Nigeria?
Yes, even though it depends
on the clients. Most clients have prefered to pay in advance (condition upon
having completed all customs documentation processes). Otherwise, we allow
payment when goods arrive and ready for pick-up.
We
charge based on the route of the freight. Air freight forwarding can be charged
either by weight or volume depends on the state of the commodities (solid,
liquid or gases). By weight, kilogram can be used from countries like China,
India, Nigeria, Germany, Poland, Indonesia, UAE, South Africa and other
countries. Canada and USA use pounds (lbs) in weight measure.
In
extent, payment is subject to a mode of shipping. For sea freight, customers
will need pay for freight and documentation at the beginning of the
transactions. Sea freight are charges based on containers if the shipment is
FCL (Full Cargo Load). We charge based on CBM (Cubic Meter) for Less Cargo
Load.
Which Shipping Method Do You Specialize In?
Our
vast knowledge and experience in shipping, we handle cargo on different routes
especially air freight services. Our teams is professional in air shipping.
How Do You Handle Lost Or Damaged Goods?
Some
times, some damages may be incurred by the airliners and shipping lines. If
shipment damages or get lost in the process, airlines or shipping company will
indemnify the consignee. Our job as a Freight Forwarder and Customs Agent is to
help pursue the process of indemnification so our clients do not lose out on
all grounds.
